Want to Slim Extend Duration of Sleep on the Weekend - Extend the duration of sleep on weekends is not only able to make us feel much more relaxed. Moreover, it also can decrease our body weight. How so?

Researchers have found that adding a sleep time, even just 90 minutes, can defeat hunger and desire to eat fatty foods.

With this discovery is expected to help combat the obesity epidemic in the United Kingdom. Previous studies have shown, sleeping with too little time, causing weight problems, and affect the balance of hormones that help to keep your appetite.

Before finding the results, the researchers first studied ten men and women who are overweight or obese, as well as having age between 21 to 40 years old and had an average sleep time of six and a half hours.

In the first week, respondents were told to continue his sleep and changing sleep patterns become much more normal. During that time, they were asked about how hunger is felt and what foods are missed.

And in the second week, they were told to extend his duration into eight to eight and a half hours. Each is given a wrist monitors to record sleep activity.

The results also showed that by increasing the sleep time by simply adding time for 90 minutes, the respondents felt able to reduce appetite. And these results have been published in the journal Appetite.
